Jeff Bridges is joining the likes of The Hoff, by announcing his debut album.  Naturally with the success of Crazy Heart, Bridges thinks that he can gain some success with this record.

Now usually I think these actors-gone-musicians are just full of themselves, and want every ounce attention they can get, but I don't think that's the case with Jeff Bridges.  If you've seen Crazy Heart, The Dude can actually sing.  I'm sure enough has happened over his career that he can belt out a blues-country album worthy of serenading your eardrums.  I'm not saying Jeff Bridges is going to top the Billboard charts, but give the guy some credit for pursuing what is clearly another passion of his.  It doesn't hurt that he probably has a bajillion dollars to fund the record either.
