There's only so much you can do with a Film degree, and although almost all of us hope to make it big and win an Oscar someday, there's a very small probability that will actually happen. I decided I might as well put my Film degree and 40 credits of general education classes at James Madison University to good use and write my feelings on all of the different forms of media I watch.
Yeah that’s right, I said media, this won’t only be reviews on movies, rather I’m going to express my thoughts on everything and anything I see and hear. There will be a lot on movies and TV, but why not throw in commercials and web videos too. Let’s be real, my “Film” degree, is really a “Media Arts and Design” degree with a concentration in “Digital Video and Cinema,” because that’s what it says on my transcript. Thanks to my education at JMU, I’ve got an idea of how to critique all media. I mean everyone wants to hear what I have to say right?
So put on your seatbelt, because it’s gonna be a bumpy ride folks. I’m bringing a few friends along for my journey into the world of blogging; they have a lot to say about movies, tv, and the like too. Sit back, relax, and put your feet up, because this blog is going to tell you what’s worth seeing, why you should see it, and why it’ll be worth your time to procrastinate even further. I’ve created a monster, and it’s going to consume us all… well at least a large portion of my day, which is spent watching Sportscenter repeatedly, until “Rome is Burning” comes on, which is when I finally turn off the TV, because that show sucks.
